The host directory is on its way
We're onboarding host families across the UK right now, and every home is checked before it appears here. While the directory fills up, our team will match you by hand. They're the same people who have placed guests with London host families since 2009.
How matching works right now
There's no self-service booking yet, and that's deliberate. Send us your dates, where you'll be studying or working, and anything that matters to you: meals, dietary needs, or how far you want to be from a particular college. We shortlist verified hosts who fit, confirm availability with them, and come back to you, usually within one working day. Guests must be 18 or over. There's no charge to enquire and no obligation until you've seen a match you're happy with.
Every host carries one of three badges
We don't claim a blanket guarantee. Instead, each listing tells you exactly how far a host has been checked, so you can decide what you're comfortable with.
ID Verified
Identity and address confirmed before a listing goes live.
Video Assessed
A member of our team has met the host and seen the home over video.
Home Visited
Someone from our team has visited the home in person.
